Day 2 of the Ramzan Bachat Fest-26 witnessed historic public response!

Punjab Institute of Agriculture Marketing successfully conducted the second day of the two-day online Service Policy Workshop for Agri-Marketing Civil Officers, with 44 participants from Agri-Marketing Wing.

  1. Dr. Muhammad Naeem, Additional Secretary (Confidential) at the ACS Office, shared his expertise on the Promotion Policy 2010, a key framework that governs career advancement and merit-based promotions in the civil service.
  2. Mr. Zubair, Additional Secretary (Admin) Punjab Livestock Department, presented on the Contract Appointment Policy 2004, which outlines regulations for temporary and contract-based government appointments.
  3. Both sessions are crucial for enhancing officers’ understanding of personnel management and ensuring transparent, efficient service delivery.

The Punjab Institute of Agriculture Marketing (PIAM) successfully conducted a capacity-building session through its mobile training van at the Fruit and Vegetable Market, Multan Road, Lahore. The program, attended by 25 aarthies and key market functionaries, focused on the critical importance of grading, packing, and minimizing post-harvest losses. The PIAM team equipped participants with essential knowledge and skills to optimize and streamline the fruit and vegetable supply chain, thereby enhancing overall market efficiency and product quality. This initiative underscores PIAM’s commitment to strengthening the agricultural marketing infrastructure through targeted on-site training interventions.
